The food was delicious! And the portion was perfect for me and my hunger. The place looks clean and nice. The waiter/cashier spoke perfect English. I just expected it to be a bit faster,. It took about 12-15 minutes for our food to be ready (party of 3). After being in a car for so long, I didn't mind waiting and stretching my legs.

Prices are great and the food is out of this world! The pepper steak was amazing.

When I first moved to Ballinger back in 2011, I saw this small west Texas town had a Chinese restaurant. So naturally, my expectations weren't that high. Boy was I wrong!! This is some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. Don't be afraid to order something out of the usual at this place. You won't be disappointed. Ballinger is very fortunate to have China Wok!

Love this place!!

Being an avid Americanized Chinese food aficionado, I love this place. I've eaten it in Chinatown in San Fran, I ate a bunch of it while on a month long business trip in NYC. I have eaten it all over the country. China Wok tastes just like the NYC version. The pork fried rice is exactly like you'll find at most NYC Chinese eateries. Delicious! Everything at the Ballinger location is delicious and fresh. I miss living there. Fort Worth doesn't compare.

I ate at some great Chinese restaurants when I lived in Austin. I have not had good Chinese food in 12 years. The food at China Wok was fantastic, the best I've eaten. It was piping hot, flavorful, none of the "room temperature" stuff you sometimes get. The dumplings were freshly made, the crab Rangoons were fresh, hot and like lava. Wonderful food. The General Tso's chicken was fresh and steaming hot right out of the wok.

The food is always excellent and the employees are super nice. Try this place once and you will want to come back again.

Their food is good. They have a good price for lunch on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu and Fri from 11am to 3pm.
